How does the online payment work?

You can now register and pay for events, or renew your membership using the website and your credit card. If you want to use the site to pay, it is secure and (we hope) convenient.

You can still phone the event organizer to confirm your spot and then pay via cheque as usual if you would prefer.

If you would like to try paying with PayPal using the yellow buttons on this site, here are some details on what to expect:

Step 1:

Click on the button that says ‘Buy Now’.

Step 2:

You will see a screen that looks like the one at right. You can read whatever you’d like to on this screen and then click the ‘continue’ button on the lower left. If you have a paypal account you’d like to use, then you can skip a step and log in to it on the right. (Click on the image above to see a bigger picture. 

Step 3:

Fill in your credit card and other information requested and click the yellow button to pay for your membership. (click on the image at right to see what this will look like.)

Step 4: It may take a few days for it all to go through, but once it does, Probus will receive an email letting us know you’ve paid for your membership, and the money will be paid from your credit card account to Probus’s PayPal account. You will also receive a receipt by email from PayPal.

You can email registration@probusvancouver.com if you haven’t received a confirmation email after 3-5 days.
