The club collects, uses and may disclose personal information of members to facilitate the mission of the Club in accordance with the requirements of the BC Society Act and subject to the restrictions set out in the Personal Information Protection Act.
A subcommittee, comprising the secretary, the membership chairman, the website committee chairman and the newsletter editor is responsible for providing information to members, ensuring compliance with the relevant legislation and dealing with any complaints from members regarding personal information retained by the Club.
