 John Atkin is a well known and extremely knowledgeable Vancouver historian, researcher and tour guide.  The apartment area surrounding South Granville Street is fascinating for its history and the range of architecture found there.

John has given many walking tours for Probus in recent years.  His tours are always popular.  So, as this tour will be limited to 25 members, we suggest you sign up as soon as possible.

ITINERARY

9:30 AM – ARRIVE FOR COFFEE

10:00 AM – WALKING TOUR STARTS

APROX 12:00 NOON – GUIDED TOUR ENDS

12:30 – NO HOST LUNCH – THERE ARE MANY GOOD RESTAURANTS ON GRANVILLE STREET.

 LOCATION DETAILS

We will meet at “Bump ‘n Grind Café”, 3010 Granville Street (East side of Granville between 14^th and 15^th Avenues), Vancouver, V6H 3J8 for coffee and muffins.

 Arriving by bus:  The number 10 bus runs along Granville street.  The number 33 bus on 16^th Avenue  stops at Granville St.

Arriving by car:  There are many parking lots in the area.  Click here for a map.

1. At the Activity Desk at the Probus meeting on 14^th April, cash or check.
